Chiang Mai : Accommodation

Of course, if you knew me at all you'll know that I love, love, love Chiang Mai.

I first went there in 2013 and kept coming back ever since.
This trip, in November this year was my 6th or 7th time.

3/4 times I went alone, twice with N and once with my family.
And every single time, I stayed at different places.

I just can't put in into words, the reasons I love this place so much.

This post is gonna be my review for our 2018 accommodation in Chiang Mai.

AirBnB : Private House in Chiangmai's Historic City
Price per night : RM200

For the first half of the trip, we stayed right at the center of Chiang Mai Old Town. [Very recommended area for first timers]
It's a quaint house in a local neighborhood, but very close to the main road.

Outdoor mini pool for you to dip in

Kitchenette. Sink, fridge, microwave, oven

Pros : strategic location, comfortable bed, fast wi-fi, tv/pc provided, clean house

Cons : Slippery bathroom floor, no iron (listed in the amenities tho), dirty water at the outdoor dip pool

The Hommtel
Price per night : RM120

On the third day, we moved to the Hommtel, in a local neighborhood area outside of the Old City.

Pros : Nice building and environment, comfortable bed, options for shared room (hostel) or private room, very near to 7Eleven, provide scooter rental services

Cons : A little bit out of town, difficult to get songthaew (taxi)

Looking forward to the next adventure in Chiang Mai!!
