Latest craze - Mille Crepe

Mille Crepe has been the 'in' thing for quite a while now.
Well, after all the craze on macaroons, pavlova, durian crepe now come the French-made dessert, mille crepe.

There are two famous spots where you can get this scrumptious  delight; Food Foundry in PJ and Nadeje Patisserie (Plaza Mahkota & Dataran Pahlawan), Melaka. A birdie told me that Nadeja's version is slightly better. Well, add in another shop into the equation ; Humble Beginnings [they offered an awful lot of choices. Must try it!]

Food Foundry - RM 9 / piece
Nadeje - RM 8.50 / piece
Humble Beginnings - RM 9.90 / piece

'Mille' means thousand. Basically mille crepe is made from many layers of crepe (usually 20) intermittently spread with fresh cream and other topping with a caramelized top.

So the other day, I went to Food Foundry with a co-worker to buy this mille crepe.

Pay attention, people!
Crepe is pronounce as 'crab'.
Yes!!
Ketam.
Stop it with the 'creep'.
Durian creep.

So, Food Foundry is located in Section 17, PJ nearby UIAM.
You would never imagined a nice cozy place smacked in the middle of residential areas.
Their tagline is 'Your neighborhood food provider'
Very fitting!
