Movie Preview - Minyak Dagu

I am a sucker for horror movies. I really am.

The last horror movie I watched were Sumpahan Kum Kum and Mae Nak. 

So the story goes that me and my friends went to watch 'Minyak Dagu'. It's always fun to watch horror movies in group; in this case 8 of us. :)

The main lead of the movie were Fezrul Khan, Yana Samsudin and Fizo Omar. Fezrul is a regular face in horror flicks. Betul kan? And he could really act well. I like his acting. Real wa cakap lu. This time around, once again he did not disappoint the viewers. Membawa watak Azman [skema di situ] tunang kepada Emelda (Yana). A very hot tempered salesman. Johan (Fizo) is Emelda's ex boyfriend, now a doctor.

Upon meeting the long lost ex boyfriend, perasaan berputik kembali. What with a loser as the fiancé. Dahla mengongkong, jenis angkat tangan, baran, kerja pun tak stabil. Emelda decided to break off the engagement. 

Azman, in rage went to meet Tok Bomoh for a spell that could forever make Emelda his's. Emelda married Johan not long after. That's when it started to turned ugly.

Emelda jadi meroyan, gilakan Azman. Like, literally gila meroyan. Up to the point she had to be locked up. Hantu ada di sana, sini because Azman accidentally broke the spell. Bak kata Tok Bomoh 'pantang yang senang macam tu pun kau tak boleh nak ikut?'.

Antara pantangnye adalah jangan sekali-kali bawa minyak dagu ke dalam rumah, jangan merentasi sungai atau lautan dan jangan menziarah orang meninggal. Semua dia pergi langgar.. Terbaik.

So the spell went backfire. Tak banyak sangat scene terkejut-kejut. But still have the essence of horror movie. Ada pengajaran. Great acting. Not a total waste, watching the movie.

Ending macam biasa.

The good guy always win.
