Bonn

Assalamualaikum wbt,

Last weekend, there was a trip to Bonn for the ERASMUS (student exchange) students.

It is quite far from Mainz. We have to ride 2 different trains and it took around 2 1/2 hours.

Bonn is famous for Beethoven, a composer and pianist. He died in 1827 at the age of 56 due to significant liver damage (heavy alcohol consumption).

He was a genius! Siapa kata tak pernah dengar his composition is a liar. Here is the most famous symphony. I bet you'll recognize it from the first few seconds.  :D

Though the place is well-known for Beethoven, we were there for the History Museum instead where we learnt about the World War 2 (mainly).  I'm a sucker for war stories so this is just my cup of tea.

All the big issues, Berlin Wall, Holocaust, Nazi dan lain-lain. You can really feel the experience there. At least, I do. I can literally feel the fear. The tour is very very beneficial. There were tons of artifacts, videos, pictures. And the tour was interactive, too. We made some simulations. We went into the prison cells especially made for the Jews. It's smaller than my bathroom! Terkesan di hati.

My Thai friends. Bagai sireh pulang ke gagang gittewww.
Asians will be Asians.  Brigitte offered to take the picture, but  no thanks.  We love our selfies.
Part of the Berlin Wall. These colorful graffiti is a sign of freedom.  Before, the people can't even come near the Wall.  There was like a 5km death zone with snipers, barbed wires etc.
Scary

Nah. Ini di antara gambar pemandangan di Bonn.

Ciao!
