Old Habits Die Hard

'Habit' atau nama Melayunye rutin, kebiasaan. Habits are pretty hard to stop and much difficult to mold. Ingat senang-senang ke nak mulakan rutin baru?

There's a saying that you won't truly know someone unless you knew his or her habits.

I have two major habits that I can't seem to shake off.

Pertama, I love to bite things. Zaman-zaman jahiliah sekolah dulu, I bit my pens. A lot! Moving onto diploma years I got obsessed with biting knives. Idakler pisau sebesar-besar tu kan. Cuma pisau lipat. But that did not last long because my beloved Laila constantly nagged about it. Now, I am settled with needles. Hahaha. Itupun Shuana selalu membebel. Unconsciously ya know? Watching movies then reaching out for the needles. I need to stop. Must!! Gigitlah pen untuk masa depan yang lebih cerah dan keselamatan yang lebih terjamin. LOL

Kedua, nails. This developed since I was a small girl. Payah weyhh nak stop. Sumpah. I remembered when I was in high school, one of my classmates also have this addiction. Yat / Atie. Selalu tangan kami kena tepuk dengan classmates yang lain. -.-'

According to psychologist, a sure helpful way to develop habits is by doing the same thing for 21 days straight. Nak biasakan sarapan? Bangun pagi, have breakfast for 21 days without fail. InsyaAllah it will be embedded in your system. Masalahnye nak mencapai 21 hari tu.. Masuk hari ke 4 dah malas. Apa cerita?
